Judging

To ensure fairness throughout the event, registrants will not be able to contact judges before the event.

At the “How to Make a Pitch” event on Nov. 21, 2024, we will review the judging criteria and instructions for video creation and submission.

Judging Criteria

  1. Problem/Opportunity Identification (up to 4 points)
    • Clearly defines a problem or opportunity and provides evidence of its significance.
  2. Solution/Approach and Value Proposition (up to 10 points)
    • Presents an innovative solution or approach with a clear value proposition, supported by a convincing business model regarding revenue streams, cost structure and scalability.
  3. Market Analysis (up to 10 points)
    • Analyzes the target market, including size, segments, and growth potential, as well as competitive analysis and differentiators.
  4. Go-to-Market Strategy (up to 10 points)
    • Provides a clear and feasible go-to-market strategy, including channels and tactics.
  5. Financial Projections (up to 6 points)
    • Presents well-researched, realistic financial projections with key assumptions.
  6. Individual/Team Execution and Presentation Delivery (up to 10 points)
    • Demonstrates the skills and experience of the team or individual and their ability to execute the plan. Engages the audience with confident, well-structured delivery and effective visuals.
  7. Q&A Handling (only for finalists, up to 10 points)
    • Effectively handles questions with clarity and demonstrates preparedness.
